Batbout is a golden and fluffy Moroccan bread. It is similar to Melwi
but thicker. It is best serverd with butter and honey. This type of
bread is also called: Mkhamer, or toghrift. The recipe is very easy to
make and should not take a long time to prepare. Simply follow these

Preparation
- Mix wheat flour, white flour, salt, yeast and gradually add water
- Knead the mixture until you get a smooth texture
- Form a medium sized ball out of the dough and flatten it
- Place it in a plate and cover it and let it ferment for 30 minutes
- Preheat a frying pan and add the dough for 5 min on medium heat
- After 5 min or so flip the batbout to the other side
- Serve it on a plate with olive oil, butter and honey
